AyurVAID Hospitals Receives QAI Accreditation for its Transition Care Centre

AyurVAID Hospitals team with QAI Accreditation Certificate

AyurVAID Hospitals, the trailblazer in precision Ayurveda, has etched another landmark in the annals of healthcare history. On May 20, 2023, the AyurVAID Hospital in Domlur, Bengaluru, became the first and only Ayurveda hospital to receive accreditation from the Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI), under the Transition Care Centre (TCC) Standard.

This accreditation marks a significant leap for Ayurvedic healthcare, demonstrating its evolution and acceptance in mainstream healthcare. QAI, as India’s only accreditation organization offering TCC certification and an institutional member of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), recognizes the efforts of AyurVAID in creating an ecosystem for standardized Ayurveda clinical protocols.

At the helm of this evolution is Rajiv Vasudevan, MD & CEO, AyurVAID, who attributes this accomplishment to the hospital’s robust protocols and patient-centric approach. AyurVAID offers step-down-care for a myriad of health conditions, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke rehabilitation, palliative care, and COVID-19 rehabilitation.

This latest accreditation bolsters AyurVAID’s reputation as a premier provider of quality Ayurveda medical care. It had previously become the first NABH-accredited Ayurveda hospital in October 2010 and is now the third healthcare provider in the country to secure QAI-TCC accreditation. These milestones underscore AyurVAID’s commitment to providing quality Ayurveda medical care that rivals the best in healthcare.

As the world continues to embrace Ayurveda’s holistic healing potential, AyurVAID is leading the charge by bridging the gap between traditional Ayurvedic practices and modern healthcare norms. Its continuous endeavors to revolutionize healthcare through Ayurveda present a promising future for integrative healthcare.
