GM Modular, India’s leading electrical solutions manufacturer for modern living, recently organised a successful Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with NayiUdaan Trust on January 12th 2024 in Mumbai from 10am to 5pm. This humanitarian effort inspired many individuals to donate blood and help save lives.
The camp was conducted in 9 railway stations including Western (Churchgate, Dadar, Andheri, Borivali, Nalasopara) and Central (CSTM, Mulund, Chembur, Vashi) stations to reach an enormous number of people. In terms of the number of donors, roughly 594 units of blood were donated. The camp not only allowed people to donate blood, but it also promoted awareness about the significance of regular blood donations. Employees and residents of the local community responded enthusiastically to the event, emphasising the significance of giving back to the society.
The event, held for the second time in a row, was promoted among GM employees, and they also participated.
